Three area high school soccer players were named United Soccer Coaches regional All Americans

Three area high school soccer players were named United Soccer Coaches regional All Americans.

Forward Josh Jones from North Penn, forward Gavin Rowan (Neshaminy) and midfielder Brandon Curran (La Salle) were named to the USC Region II team, which was selected by a panel of coaches.

All three were named to the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State team.

Rowan noted that he, Jones, and Curran train with the same club team and pointed out that the culture of the sport generates respect among elite players who are competing against one another.
